An intimate private selection of hot pools to choose from.
River Rock Estate is open to the public and welcome guests to try one of the seven intimate private hot pools.
The Hot Pools setting. Set amongst grain silos, a stables style building, an olive grove, stone and rocky outcrops with native plantings all with views of the surrounding mountains and vineyard. The Hot Pools temperatures range from 34 - 40 degrees. The complex is only suitable for adults.
Hot Pool Options:
-Indoor Soaking Baths x two. Housed in a lean-to stables style building each bath is suitable for one or two adults and housed in its own room with private changing area. The two bath areas have views of the mountains and vineyard and are separated by an opaque glass wall which can be opened to form one larger area. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees.
-Glass House Tub. Take a short stroll and be part of the natural surroundings among the olive trees with snow capped mountain views. The oval tub can accommodate up to two adults and is perfect for individuals, couples, and close friends. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees.
-Outdoor Tub. Set amongst a rocky setting with views of the mountains and vineyard, screened off by what resembles an old sheep dipping pen to create privacy. The tub also has a cold shower for when the body gets too hot and needs a quick temperature change. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees. Suitable for up to five adults.
-Outdoor Super Tub. Nestled among the rocks with views of the mountains and vineyard. Seats up to eight adults with a neck and shoulder messaging spout, four high power jets and cool down shower. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees.
-Indoor Spa Tub. The round spa/tub is set amongst rocks inside a grain silo with its own shower and views of the mountains and vineyard. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees. Guests can change in the silo or in the provided changing rooms. Suitable for one or two adults.
-Indoor Swim Spa/Plunge Pool. The Elite of all our hot pools housed inside an extended grain silo. State of the art plunge pool with spa seats and lounger at one end and swim jets at opposite end. There are numerous large rocks placed around the pool edge and outside in a fully fenced courtyard area which is suitable for soaking up the suns rays in summer. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. The water temperature is set between 34.C during summer to 38.6C during the colder months. Suitable for up to six to eight adults.
Changing Rooms: Situated either side in the main entry foyer. Separate male and female areas with heater, chairs, robes, hair dryer and mirror. Some pools have there own changing area.
Shower: All guests are required to shower before entering any of the Hot Pools. The shower is an enclosed private outdoor eco friendly shower, eco friendly soap is provided.
Extras and Gift Vouchers
Extra persons $40 each. Non bathers wishing to enter the hot pools area will be classed as an extra person. Non bathers not wishing to enter hot pools area are welcome to use upstairs lounge area to wait.
Extra bottle of wine, beer or fruit juice may be purchased prior from our Tasting Room. Extras must be paid on arrival.

Things to know: It is recommended to bring appropriate foot wear (Jandals/Scuffs/Sandals) to walk on gravel from entrance area to hot pools. Guest are also advised they need to be reasonably agile to climb into tubs.
Guest credit card details: Required when checking in for any possible incidentals that guest may occur. Credit card details are not kept on file after guest leaves.
Loyalty Scheme Bookings, Book Six Appointments-Seventh is Free: Conditions apply. First you must create an account, all bookings that count towards the seventh free must be booked through the same account under the same account name. Seventh booking free is up to the discretion of the management.
Account/Repeat Bookings/Phone App: Download the Acuity Scheduling client mobile app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Then add our business by entering https://riverrockestatehotpools.as.me/ Clients can use the app to log into client accounts they've already created, or create a client account to use with our business. They can also use the app without logging into a client account, if they prefer, but logging in ensures appointments booked can be tracked both through the web and through the app and count towards loyalty scheme.
To create a new account, clients:

The Hot Pools are an adults only area. Naked bathing is permitted.
NO BYO ALCOHOL. ADULTS ONLY (Due to Health & Safety Policy & Council Rules)
The Hot Pools complex is smoke/vape/drug free.
All bookings receive a complimentary bottle of River Rock Estate wine, tasty cheese and cracker snacks, chocolates and bottle water. Towels and robes provided. Wine or Beer may be purchased prior from the Tasting Room. Any consumption of BYO alcohol may result in a penalty fee being charged. Any breakages, property missing or damage caused by the customer may be charged for at the owner’s discretion. Please DO NOT add anything (soaps, oils, perfumes etc) to the hot pools. Please shower before entering any of the hot pools as body lotions and cosmetics change the pH of the water. No smoking/vaping or drug use. A cleaning fee will be charged if any of the above has taken place.
Cancellations: A no show booking or cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged at the full booking rate and not be eligible for a refund or reschedule. Bookings cancelled within 30 days before the appointment time will not be eligible for a refund but eligible for a rescheduled booking. Bookings cancelled prior to 30 days before the appointment time will be eligible for a full refund less booking fees. Bookings cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours of actual appointment time.
The owners/operators of River Rock Estate take no responsibility or liability for anything that may happen to guests while using the Hot Pool complex or surrounding areas. We have a full Health & Safety Policy in place.
