About River Rock Estate

Set up in 2003 by Jan-Marie and Graeme McDowell, River Rock Estate has two styles of accommodation, Vineyard rooms and a one/two bedroom cottage.
The Vineyard rooms can both sleep two adults, there is one king size bed in each room.
The Cottage can sleep up to four adults and be booked as one or two bedrooms, there is one king size bed in the main room and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The accommodation is not suitable for children. 

Also set against the Olive Grove with views of the mountains two parks are available for fully self contained Camper-vans (Adults only).

Hot Pools & Sauna: River Rock Estate is open to the public and welcome guests to try one of the seven intimate private hot pools and/or sauna.

The Hot Pools & Sauna setting: Set amongst grain silos, olives, a stables building, stone and rocky outcrops with native plantings and views of the mountains. The Hot Pools temperatures range from 34 - 40 degrees, Sauna 70 - 80 degrees. The complex is adults only. 

Cellar Door:
The Cellar Door is situated upstairs in the barn with stunning mountain views, neighbouring vineyards, over Cromwell township and the surrounding Carrick, Dunstan and Pisa Ranges. We offer wine and port tastings, wine, port, olive oil and honey sales, wine and port merchandise & Manuka honey soaps (Gift boxes, wine and tasting glasses etc).
